Living in The Movies…Part II

Tuesday, January 26, 2010 | Category: Decorating, Movie/TV Sets

Part II comes after popular demand for more movie and television interiors.  I must say that after “Living in the Movies” Part I, I found myself thinking about movie/television interiors that I had forgotten, and thank you MG readers for reminding me!  So let’s take another look at some of the most interesting and beautiful on- screen homes.

You pretty much touch on every fabulous home and apt in the movies that are so memorable! I’d take them all!

I love Iris’s house! I own that movie and hate to admit that sometimes I watch it, just to catch more detail of that cozy little house. I have to fight the urge to say, “Yeah, right. There’s no way someone like her could outfit a house like that.” :-) It’s my all time favorite movie house. I’m so glad I ran across this blog!

My daughter fell in love with the painting over the fireplace in the M.bedrm in “Something’s Gotta Give”. Sand, then water, then scenery in the background. Would love to know who painted that.

I read that the marble/granite counters were actually painted plywood & the “pool” only 6 inches deep.
