Anything but “square”

I have the best friends in the world- they read the blog regularly, send me emails directing my attention to spelling mistakes I’ve made in posts (oops!), and alert me to new products when they think they might be a good topic for MG.

Last weekend my friend Bonnie emailed me about Square Feathers.  She saw them in Town and Country magazine and thought their pillows looked like something I would be interested in.  Turns out, she was right!

Ron McIntyre is the Texas based interior designer behind these original and imaginative creations.  Each pillow is hand sewn and given the utmost attention.

It wasn’t long before I was emailing Ron to ask for photos of these special Square Feather pieces (ok, not long meaning- ten minutes after Bonnie alerted me to them!)

See what I mean? They are so eye catching and too much fun not to post.

I can see two of these Jolie “Lime” stools under a lucite console table.

This pillow is the key to my sofa transformation!

I love their “Sea” Cube.  How cute would this look in a beach house paired with orange or silver accents?

Now on to their fab pillows…

The Willow pillow has some excellent texture to it giving this square lots of organic and natural charm.

Who doesn’t love a cherry blossom?  Especially one so graphic!

Not all sides are created equal! This asymmetrical design is what makes the Button Rose pillow so unique…and the 3-d flowers give it that extra detailing that you wouldn’t find on a “normal” pillow.

Last but not least, the Safari Orange pillow brings the meaning of jungle to a whole new level.

I am such a pillow person…would it be really awkward if I had one of each design in my living room? How could you decide on just one pattern? I’ll take them all please with a side of Sea Cube.
