More than just plastic…

I get emailed this question all the time- where can I find acrylic coffee tables, consoles and end tables?

I usually direct people to either Allan Knight, CB2, Overstock, The Paris Apartment or a Dallas custom acrylic furniture maker.

Excited to announce that there’s a new lucite vendor in town named Crate and Barrel- you may have heard of them before?

CB2 started with the less expensive version, the Peekaboo clear coffee table and it must have been such a hit that Crate and Barrel decided to come out with its own version called the Vista coffee table.

The CB2 one is a complete steal at $249.  The Crate and Barrel one has a great look to it too, but this one is a little bit pricier- retailing at $599.

And scene…

There is also a Vista console table ($599) as well as a side table ($449)

However, three acrylic pieces that Crate and Barrel doesn’t carry are the clear nesting tables, the media console and the drink table that is on acrylic casters.  You will have to visit CB2 for these!

Nice to have another source for these transparent tables…what is your favorite go-to lucite place?

I had to comment on the first picture from Elle Decor – that living room is still one of my favorites – not only with lucite, but the whole room is done in purple – not an easy feat. It is gorgeous!

do you think acrylic coffee tables will soon be “done?” I really like the look of them but I am afraid after some time it will look trendy?

I never would have thought about Overstock for acrylic tables! We need some for our new couch from Room & Board.

Thanks from one N. TX girl to another.

Hey Katy- I hope not!! I just love the look of them. But as with everything else, things come on go…we’ll see if lucite can stand the test of time!

You’ve showcased some beautiful examples of acrylic pieces here – I really love the table in the first photo 🙂
