I’ve been meaning to post this Mary McGee ( I LOVE her portfolio) designed Living Room and Bathroom for a while now, so when I stumbled upon it on Desire to Inspire I just couldn’t resist.

What a sunny room! I love those floors too! Oh, poor me…I need new floors so badly! What design style would you call this? Why do I think this room is lacking a rug? I guess I just don’t understand the minimalistic design approach.

Love the black wood floors. My house in Houston had all black wood floors…now just my bedroom. I love the colors.

I agree, the floors are awesome – I can’t imagine how much dust they would show though! I have a feeling the room was styled on the minimal side (no rug, etc). I don’t even know how I would peg this room but I love it!

My friend is trying to talk me into painting my new house with the same paint color for the trim, bookcases, walls, and ceiling which is what i suspect is going on in these pictures. Does anyone have an opinion on this?
