Furniture Friday: Dressing Tables
Friday, October 30, 2009 | Category: Bed and Bath, Furniture
There is nothing more feminime than a ladies dressing table. The above image of Georgina Chapman epotimizes modern notions of what glamour and luxury are all about. By simply adding a piece of furniture to your bedroom or bathroom, be it mirrored or modern, you too can doll yourself up the way the Old Hollywood Screen Sirens used to.
MIRRORED:

WOOD:

So how do you get ready in the morning? I can tell you that my routine is hardly glamorous, maybe I need to transition my desk to a dressing table!

Modern residential design has incorporated the ‘vanity’ into most master en suites and we’ve lost the allure and glam of having these wonderful bastions of feminity in our homes. Get rid of that dusty treadmill in the bedroom and stick one of these lovelies in it’s place and enjoy the world of etched glass perfume bottles, powder puffs and Venetian glass!

Nothing is more glam than a mirrored dressing table to primp for a night on the town! Beautiful!

Wow, just gorgeous! Loving all the mirrored dressers and tables! I adore mirrored furniture ! Any rooms/space I have gets decorated with the stuff lol! Although one room is now dedicated to silver furniture . I am also thinking of styling another room with french furniture , just wonderful!
