Furniture Friday: New from Bernhardt Interiors
Friday, May 21, 2010 | Category: Furniture
Lauren here, the Houston blogger…yes, I’m alive. I’ve felt snowed under since about October but I am SO GRATEFUL to be busy with work!
I’m excited to share new pieces from Bernhardt Interiors…a great, affordable line available at retail showrooms that Jill introduced us to.

Abalone Shell Bunching Cocktail Table – Okay, I’m mildy obsessed with this pair above, and the mirrored table below.
Reclaimed Elm Console Table - would be great turned into a sink console w/exposed plumbing.
Ridge Ottoman - I can’t resist and “x” base bench!
Slope Arm Chair - would love these around my Dining Room table
Kennedy Sofa - I’d add two bolster pillows on either end.
Caden Sofa - I can see this at the end of a bed in a large Master Suite. It would also work well in a small apartment.
Tremont Chair - really crushing on this chair!

The price point on these items is surprising! So great for anyone starting out and buying furniture.

I can’t blame you for being mildly obsessed with the abalone bunching tables. Would love to see them in person. But I really love those chocolate Dalia chairs. So graceful and rich looking!

I know this collection – and the great thing about it (other than the designs, that is) is that designers can c.o.m. the upholstered seating & beds > all delivered in 3 weeks! At these prices, that’s truly remarkable.

Wow! i love your site!! So much good and unusual info– Great transformations on old furniture! I purchased a brand new glider/rocker with the manufacturer’s fabric and had it redone in a beautiful Thibaut fabric to match the drapes in that room and it turned out very nice as well. I live in an area where there is not a plentitude of used or consigned furniture to pick up cheaply and recover, so I look at inexpensive places to find new furniture to redo–Big Lots, Westco, etc–I am not a credentialed designer and am not able to buy designer fabrics at cost, but have been able to locate a vendor that gives me major discounts on designer fabrics, which are not seconds. Works nicely—
