L.E.D. & Me!

{My Home Office Make-Over Inspiration Board}

I’m thrilled to be participating in the SYLVANIA Blogger Room Makeover Challenge.  What’s that, you ask?  Well, I had the weekend to conduct a makeover of the room of my choosing (I’ve selected my teeny-tiny home office) using a $500 gift card to Lowe’s and SYLVANIA’s Ultra A-Line LED light bulbs.

I could not be more excited about these 12 watt LED bulbs.  My clients are constantly asking what’s the newest with LED lighting because technology is moving quickly.  Well, this is it!  These bulbs are the perfect replacement for your 60-watt incandescents and last 25 times longer.  I put them to use in my diaster of an office.

My color scheme inspiration came from the peachy-coral Jan Showers’ designed bedroom.  I wanted a happy space.  A space I’d actually WANT to work in.  I can’t hardly wait to share the design and the “before” & “afters.”  Right now – SLEEP.  I’m exhausted…it was a crazy weekend!

Please note that this post is sponsored by SYLVANIA.  I have received compensation for participating but my review and opinions are my own.

I’m a big fan of the white Eames office chair I saw in your picture. Have the same one myself and it looks and feels awesome. Good luck with that competition!

LED lights are totally the future in lighting. And that chandelier is really chic.=)

Thanks for the great work you do at your blog. I put them to use in my diaster of an office.

Disaster of an office? I really don’t think so! :)

I was thinking about adding L.E.D. lights to my office and might really give it a try. I sure would save some money for electricity, since my office is small and doesn’t have much day light. I need to have the lights on most of time I’m working.

Btw Lauren, I love that Chandelier.

PJ – the LED lights are so much COOLER (meaning my tiny office doesn’t get hot when I have the chandelier on), I meant to mention that in my post!
