The Art of Pouring

Wednesday, July 25, 2012 | Category: Uncategorized

One of the cooler things I’ve seen in awhile was recently brought to my attention through Facebook so I decided I must share it with my fellow design lovers and friends.  Do you ever look at a painting and wonder exactly how it was created, what mediums, techniques and tools were used?  How hard is it to create something similar?  I do.  All the time.  Watch THIS VIDEO  and see an example of an artist who uses one of the more unique techniques to create these one of a kind “pours”.  The end result is truly remarkable.

These are exquisite! And watching the process of them creating the art is like art itself! I’m inspired to possibly try this as a DIY project (of course it won’t be nearly as beautiful of these but I’d love to see what happens by pouring paint onto canvas).

thanks for sharing! you’ve motivated me!!!

The patterns are great but there’s too much color!
