Rooms With a View

Wednesday, October 24, 2012 | Category: Uncategorized

The 18th Annual Rooms With a View design show is just around the corner and this year I’m lucky enough to be creating a vignette with my friend and colleague, Topher Carnes.  Topher is a decorative artist who specializes in highly-detailed room sized wall murals, tromp l’oeil, luxurious Venetian plasters, distressed antique finishes, rich metal and leaf patinas, faux wood grain and marbleizing effectives.  Together, we are creating a decorator’s office titled “Unfinished Business”.  With a mix of black and whites, lime greens, chartreuse, eggplant and silver metallics, we’ve come up with a room you won’t want to miss.   The best part about the show, is you get to shop while viewing the vignettes and take home a little (or big) something special.

This year’s honorary chairman is Thom Felicia who you can meet at the Gala Preview party on Thursday, Nov. 1.  Tickets are limited but available by calling the Southport Congregational Church at 203.255.4538

Topher and I will be creating a vignette titled “Unfinished Business”

Sneak peek of our color scheme

There are 12 other great designers who will be creating vignettes and making this years show a must see.  Not only will a percentage of the proceeds go to the Southport Congregational Church but the entire event is a tribute to the late Albert Hadley who we all miss and admire dearly.  Join us at this year’s show and help make it a huge success for the Southport Congregational Church

Nice color palette. I like the green shade more. I have some suggestion like if you color your home with peacock colors thats look awesome and give you some different look for your room.
