Various Artists have come together and made a pledge to donate 50% of their proceeds to the New York Foundation for the Arts’ Emergency Relief Fund for Hurricane Sandy.  A few of these artists had artwork that was damaged and destroyed during the storm so they know first hand what it was like to lose valuable possessions during the hurricane.  They have created ‘The Artist Relief Project‘ which is an online exhibit (Nov. 28 – Dec. 17) to help victims get back on their feet.  Take a look at the participating artists and see if there’s a way you can help them recover from their losses.  It’s a great way to help those in need and get some Holiday shopping done at the same time!
