Going Green
Tuesday, January 22, 2013 | Category: Uncategorized
As I begin to shop and scheme for a new client I have to keep in mind her mention and love for the color green. It just so happens that emerald green is Pantone’s color of the year, so lucky for me, there’s some inspiration out there. I’ve always loved green — it’s a color that surrounds us and makes our gardens, lawns and forests as pretty as they are. It’s refreshing and relaxing which is why I can’t wait to get started and create a wonderful space for my client using green. Take a look at some inspiration I’ve found while cruising the web:
love the black and whites against the emerald green walls
i love this bold leopard carpet against the emerald green built-ins
a lovely green chinoiserie
a splash of emerald green curtains
inspiration and colors can come from anywhere – if you like it on a door you’ll like it on your walls
mix your greens!
nothing better than a tufted sofa with a pleated skirt in emerald green
mixing geometrics with patterns and various greens
playful and bold moments of green!

Can I recommend you another furniture piece that would fit just perfect in this post? http://goo.gl/YJ8Mr this sideboard is called Diamond Emerald and was design by a portuguese brand named Boca do Lobo. It features their lovely Limited Edition alongside other great products.

Absolutely LOVE your blog and incredibly inspiring images and stories. Great articile on “Going green.” – would you be willing to credit each photograph so we know the talented designers who created them? Love to know who is capable of working with one of the most challenging colors – green with envy! – Eco

Green is just a gorgeous color to use to give life to a room. We have similar green couches paired with green curtains in our study and we use it all the time during summer just to relax and read a book or two. Never thought of a green door but gave me an idea for an window frames. Nice pictures and I like your blog.
