Furniture Friday: Bar Carts
I was on the hunt for a bar cart forever…Emily actually spotted the one I own at White Elephant Antiques in Dallas and called me immediately. Mine is brass bamboo…okay, that sounds really tacky when you write it out…ha ha!
Here are a few of my favorite picks for all different design styles…It’s fun to hunt online, but if you want a good deal on something really unique, hit up the consignment shops and antique stores in your area! I love my gold one, but I still lament not getting the silver one I saw at the Guild Shop…
Fun and Funky Bar Carts:
This lime green cart may scare those that went through the acid green phase in the 70’s but I love the color!
Again, I know many hear the word “rattan” and cringe, but in the right environment this could totally work!
Metropolitan:
Clean lined and simple…you just can’t go wrong with this cart.
The Duncan Bar Cart by Restoration Hardware is perfection.
I love the geometric lines of this cart by Mecox.
INDUSTRIAL CHIC:
EBay jewel…I love the industrial feel, but yet it doesn’t feel like a sterilized cart in a doctor’s office. So Bachelor chic!
This Milo Baughman Serving Cart from Pieces is a show-stopper!
Contemporary:
I like the multiple levels on this cart…it really gives you a lot of options.
The Circa Bar Cart by Roost reminds me of the Jetson’s.
Keep in mind, a bar cart doesn’t have to be stocked to the brim with alcohol…I even like them stacked high with books! They can be very fun to accessorize – mine is always changing!
