Geek or Chic?

My husband sent me an email this morning telling me he really liked Jill’s post on “Industrial Chic.”  At first, I’ll admit I was a little surprised that this look appealed to him.  Upon further reflection it actually made sense.  I mean, he is such a science geek and the industrial look can at times, remind me of a science lab.  How perfect for him!  I decided to dedicate this post to what I am calling, “Science Lab Chic.”

Jayson does this look VERY well…

What an awesome classroom desk this would be!

Of course you need great metal cabinets to house all of your “curiosities.”

Every “classroom” needs a globe!  I love this one from Paris Hotel Boutique.

French Blue & Company has sooo many fun weird finds in their Curiosity Cabinet:

Of course, an industrial pendant is a MUST:

Erika, of Urban Grace Interiors found this chart at Round Top.

I found some great school house finds at Clutter in Round Top this year…
